Hilo AYSO is proud to invite your team to the 2024 Volcano International Soccer Tournament.
Scope:
AYSO Open International Invitational – open to AYSO teams from all Sections and Non AYSO Teams.
When:
Soccerfest and Skills Challenge: June 20th, 2024
Volcano International Soccer Tournament: June 21st through June 23rd, 2024 – Rain Dates N/A
Where:
The Tournament will be held at the Bayfront Soccer Fields in Hilo, Hawaii.
There is no charge for parking.
No pets are allowed at fields.
Concessions & restroom facilities are available.
Who:
Boys and Girls AYSO and Club teams in age divisions:
19U (11v11) - 18 players max
14U (11v11) - 16 players max
12U (9v9) - 13 players max
10U (7v7) - 10 players max
All players must have been registered to play and have played in the 2023/2024 membership year.
Guest players will be allowed (2 maximum in 10U, 3 maximum in 12U and 14U, and 4 maximum per team in 19U).
Co-ed teams will be accepted in boys’ divisions only.
What:
Pool play tournament.
Each team will be guaranteed 3 games (4 games on average).
The top teams will advance to the medal round on Sunday afternoon.
All pool play games will be as follows: (70 min. for 19U, 60 min. for 14U, 60 min for 12U, and 50 min. for 10U) while semi-finals and finals games will be (80 min. for 19U, 70 min. for 14U, 60 min. for 12U, and 50 min. for 10U).
Why:
The 2024 Volcano International Soccer Tournament is being conducted as a fundraiser by Region 274 to raise funds for Field Development, Equipment, & Maintenance, and to provide Scholarship funds for youths in Region 274.
Awards:
All players and 2 coaches on the 1st & 2nd place teams for divisions 10U – 19U will receive a medal.
Sportsmanship awards will also be given in each division
Entry Fee, Refunds:
$350 for 10U, $400 for 12U, $450 for 14U, and $500 for 19U.
A full refund will be issued if the Tournament is canceled and cannot be rescheduled.
If a team withdraws 30 or more days before the Tournament, a full refund is given.
Cancellations within 30 days of the Tournament will not receive a refund.
Referees:
All referees will be either paid or unpaid volunteer referees.
Referee deposits will no longer be taken.

Acceptance:
The application deadline is June 7th, 2024.
All teams will be notified within 24 hours, via TeamSnap, of completing the registration process and of their acceptance into the tournament.
Teams that are not accepted will be placed on the waiting list.
